WORLD FIRST – Mercedes-Benz G63 6×6 Brabus™ with Titanium Akrapovič™ exhaust.

When our friends at Just Like Papa asked us if there was any performance mods we could recommend for their Mercedes-Benz G63 6×6 Brabus™, we were a bit taken aback. How do you improve on something that is already so special in stock format and pushing out more than 430kW 800Nm? Our Technical Team jumped to work and reached out to our partners at Akrapovič™, to find out if there might be a Titanium Valvetronic exhaust option for the 6×6. Unfortunately, they informed us that the there wasn’t, and that they were still in development phase for the system. The 6×6 is essentially a normal Gelandewagen, or well the first half of the vehicle is, so this got our engineers thinking that maybe we could fit the Akrapovič™ system for the normal G63, to the 6×6 (with some subtle manipulation.) We decided to roll the dice, and ordered the system, and so began an epic project that would turn out be a first in the world! We couldn’t be happier with the final results, and it was an honour to receive praise and acknowledgement from Akrapovič™ HQ. The 515kW 1100Nm monster was also featured on kykNET’s La’t Wiel Car Show on DSTV.
